Sending my son to Shaolin Kung Fu Health and Fu Health and Fitness Academy (SKHFA) in Upper Marlboro has been a real blessing. Since my son Zaphnath attended SKFHA in 2008 his grades and attitude about school has improved.

The caring one on one attention along with the family oriented atmosphere is just what he needed. His grades have gone from C’s to A’s and B’s. He now takes ownership for his accomplishments and pride in his work. He is now able to see his hard work pay off.

The safe environment, keeps me from worrying while at work because we know he is in good hands. The discipline is very similar to what my husband and I stress at home. The homework is checked for accuracy and understanding not just completion.

The Kung Fu lessons/ classes are an added bonus. My son strives to excel and understands better the importance of earning something, when you work hard for it.

We appreciate the excellent care and support we receive daily at SKHFA. The feedback from staff about school work is timely and appropriate. This is no ordinary after care program. This is a part of our “Village”….”It takes a Village to raise a child”
